Orbitian was established in Subang Jaya in 2018 by a small group of professionals with backgrounds in enterprise systems, operations consulting, and machine learning. What brought them together was a shared observation: most businesses in Malaysia were sitting on significant productivity potential, but the path to realising it through automation was unclear and often misrepresented.
The founders had all seen what happened when automation projects were driven by enthusiasm rather than structured discovery — systems that didn't fit existing tools, workflows that skipped important exception paths, and teams left unsupported after go-live. They set out to build something different.
From the beginning, Orbitian's work has followed a three-stage method: understand the workflow thoroughly before touching any technology, build a solution that fits within the client's existing environment, and then stay involved to ensure the system continues to perform as business conditions evolve.
Today, our team has supported organisations across finance, logistics, professional services, and manufacturing in the Klang Valley and beyond. The approach has not changed, though our understanding of what works — and what to avoid — has deepened considerably.
